CrossPoint Telecom approached us in late 2015 to replace our 7-year old NEC PABX phone system with the latest IP-PBX office phone technology available, part of CrossPoint’s value-added proposition is their ability to facilitate connectivity between MTM Shipping’s regional offices, so the transfer of voice calls between our offices in Mumbai, Manila and Singapore will be free. We are also looking to improve connectivity between our office(s) and our shipping vessels to reduce expensive Inmarsat calls from ship-to-shore and vice versa. CrossPoint is looking to help us reduce our IDD roaming charges for our senior staff that travel.
